The Pálffy Palace on Zámocká Street is a national cultural monument from the middle of the 17th century. It will enchant you by its unmistakable atmosphere, amazing acoustics and historical premises, which are the preserved parts of the palace formerly owned by the Pálffy family.

The Pálffy Palace complex was built by Pál IV Pálffy from 1646 to 1653 between today’s Zámocká, Svoradova and Škarniclová Streets. He made this decision during the reconstruction of the castle, which he managed and partially funded. The palace featured three enclosed courtyards, an open service courtyard and an exceptional garden wing with a staircase pavilion.

The Pálffy Palace on 47 Zámocká Street underwent an extensive reconstruction which saved the preserved parts of a precious national monument.
